#WritingWednesdayAC: Encouragement Week Three
Welcome to Week Three in our encouragement series! This week, I want us to focus our encouragement towards a peer in our life. It can be a co-worker, a classmate, a neighbor, a fellow mom/dad; someone that you interact with on a regular basis who maybe isn’t in your “inner circle.”
It can be so easy to develop a spirit of negativity when it comes to our day-to-day tasks. Sometimes, daily routines feel wonderful & healthy but over time they can grow to feel mundane & dull. When you encourage others, you yourself become encouraged! So by sharing a bit of encouragement with one of your comrades, you can expect an uplift as well!
Over time, I’ve noticed that a lot of my encouragement notes actually start with “thank you.” I have found that before I encourage someone, I like to thank them (we’re gonna talk about thankfulness more in weeks to come - stay tuned) If you find yourself stuck on something to say, start by thinking of something that person does that you are so thankful for! That will open up the opportunity for the encouragement to flow out!
