#WritingWednesdayAC: thanksgiving week 4
Did you know that it takes 21 days to build a new habit?
If you’ve been tracking with us throughout this whole series, you’re on your way to cultivating a habitual attitude of gratitude! Gratefulness is a choice, and I believe that it can become second nature depending on the choices we make right now.
Last week we were speaking it out, this week we’re gonna write it out! Who is one person that deserves a thank-you note? Think of those who often go overlooked. I’ll be real with you: I actually do the writing challenges I send to you every week, and pretty much every time, I get butterflies when I go outside my comfort zone!
This week, I’m writing a simple “thank-you” to the cleaning professional who works in our building. I realize that I always take her services for granted, I never even have the opportunity to complain about our space because she takes care of it so well. It’s in her stewarding that I’m able to work peacefully, and I don’t know about you but working in peace is something I am super grateful for!
Think of someone today who often goes unrecognized in your life. Sometimes, it’s the smallest acts that cultivate the greatest gratitude. When you take a step back, everyone has a part to play. Which piece of your puzzle can you be outwardly grateful for today?
