#WritingWednesdayAC: what’s your why?

Happy Wednesday, friend!

When I started planning for my first Writing Wednesday, the first thing I wrote was the “why.” What purpose would sending a weekly email or publishing a weekly blog post serve? My “why” for Writing Wednesdays is to act as as a reminder to each of you about intimate connection through the written word. Even now, whenever I’m preparing for an upcoming Writing Wednesday, I always refer to my “why” statement.

It can be easy to lose sight of the prize if you lose sight of your “why.” Is there an area of your life where you feel you’ve forgotten your “why?” Maybe you feel like your passion or excitement is dwindling, or what once felt exhilarating now feels like a burden. Wherever you are, take a deep breath and think back to the beginning. Take a moment to reflect on your “why.” Let this give you a fresh perspective and fresh motivation to press on and finish what you started!

What’s your why, friend? Comment below and share! I’d love to see your response and encourage others on their journey!
